The First Aberdeen Trifecta. I have long played high quality FCO as a defense against a weakening dollar and occasionally played FAX for the same reason. First Aberdeen's higher yield offering, FAM, is now being added to the holdings. My allocation for these is one full position consisting of 50% FCO and 25% each of FAX and FAM.

Warning, these funds get killed during a down market. But if you can afford to hold your nose and collect the income, they have long proven to be worthwhile holdings. I don't love their fund expenses or leverage, but they do seem to offer value for the price.
