WOW. You are right.

I have some 1999's now, so to mimic the extra long option, I would sell my 1999's sometime before they expire and reinvest essentially all the proceeds in new LEAPS. Theoretically, this could be an astronomical amount of $$$ after just a few cycles. If leaps become too popular, the premium will start to grow or nobody will buy the stock.
