To me, Obama is now just like a big old log in the road. He needs to be moved to the side, so the traffic can surge forward. Dems had a shot at doing some things that might have made a difference, but they didn't and the opportunity won't come again. The country now needs to be put in the hands of the Rep Party...period. I mean that seriously. They have the momentum and they will reshape the country. Whatever that reshaping ends up being, the country will adapt. Obama equals morass, drifting, happenstance. Not even a household can operate that way, much less a country.

The simple fact is that we have a mature economy with a deteriorating job base. Neither party can change our demographics and our lack of wage parity. It has to run its course. That means some folks have to get thrown off the bus. Commonsense says it should be from among the old, the indigent, and the uneducated, otherwise the country has no good stock with which to rebuild itself. I'm getting exceedingly cranky watching both parties dance around this unpleasant reality.

The faster this gets going, the fewer get thrown off the bus. Not even Ryan is moving fast enough for me, lol. His goal of sparing Medicare cuts for people 55 and older is ridiculous pandering.
