Hey, what's up? How large is Incyte's current building (in Sq. footage?) is 95,000 sq. ft. larger or smaller than the current HQ? also, do you have any idea what they plan to put in the new building? is it going to be all laboratory? if so, are they making the current building all offices/administration?
btw, my input on Monsanto: I hope something comes out of that....genomics in agriculture is huge....the industry already generates billions of dollars a year in revenues....everything from development of new fertilizers, plant foods, to better weather/bug resistant crops, bigger and tastier veggies & fruits, better shelf lifes, etc. the possibilities are quite astounding. and unlike drug discovery, many agricultural advancements (CORRECT ME IF I'M WRONG!) do not take 8-12 years to hit the market.
I hope Incyte strikes further deals with other plant genomics companies. I believe Hoechst also has an agricultural division. many of the big pharms do.
btw, any sign of clin trials phase I yet??? that would make things fly high to the sky. something will inevitably come out of those gene databases.
