Re: Investors Real Estate Trust (NasdaqGS: IRET )

- Dividend Yield: 7.4%
- 5% Discount w/ the Company DRIP program - Yield on Cost: 7.68%

Just received my first DRIP from the company where I got a 5% discount on Dividend invested shares. 6.6774 shares were posted to my account representing their Q1 dividend. My cost after discount was $8.99/share.

I am not exactly sure how they calculate the buy-in discounted price for the quarter but they must use some type of average closing price for the past 60 days.

Anybody else own this stock and have set it up for the 5% company sponsored DRIP? If so, was your net price per share cost $8.99/share?

It's still nice to receive the discount on every distribution.
