Al, > I did miss that...but that is no longer a flat tax as some reps and libertarians envision one... It's flat enough. A progressive tax curve is fine as long as it isn't too sharp of a curve. Otherwise it punishes those who have very unsteady incomes. A windfall one year followed by several lean years would effectively be taxed at the high rate. Tenchusatsu
