"bet against the mortgage market at the same time it continued to sell mortgage-backed securities" I just fail to understand why the selling of the mortgage backed securities, which must have been AT LEAST represented as sound, if not represented as a GREAT INVESTMENT, does not constitute fraud, since GS obviously KNEW they were a TERRIBLE investment.
