BT,DT, wore out the t-shirt.

ATC is one the best jobs in the federal government. Great pay, high recognition for work and early retirement.

If it was so stressful, there WOULD NOT be a line out the door trying to get hired.

Ask your controller friends what their views are about sleeping at work. Use the recent examples cited in the press.

The union answer will be that that management should add more resources (controllers) to the shift.

The (leadership/potential ATC manager) answer will be that the guy caught sleeping should be put on the beach for a few days so he can get some rest.

This might help to decipher the BS about work stress.
