I wonder when a reporter or blogger is going to take a careful look at the Ryan proposal and check the Gallup polling on the individual items: Tax cuts for the rich - majority wants them to pay more. End Medicare entitlement - no way. Leave defense spending untouched - really no way. Not only is it a stupid plan, it's a plan that wouldn't pass a national referendum under any circumstances. A stupid footnote in the long run, I stand by my prediction.
