Speaking of access, Derek: I just got off the phone with my ISP, and they said they have finally given up on US West on getting a local line to support 56K here. My ISP now has an order in with Electric Lightwaves, based here in Vancouver. ELI says "a couple weeks, within a month". So..one year after the initial 56K announcements, and here I am..still waiting. I guess I should be getting 112kbps sometime in Nov 98. I can hardly wait! -G-
