If I forecast on fundamentals, I would point out that things aren't really getting any worse in any big way and the more likely direction is up. The consumers may have turned the corner and appear to be spending more than inflation is removing their buying power. Interest rates are still benign and it seems to be a buyers market still. As long as the Feds don't do something stupid, the markets seem to have legs to stand on as they say.

From a technical standpoint... many of the indicators I use have bottomed and are turning up. No, not unanimous by any means, but surely a sign of things to come.

And tax time surely is a market help rather than drag on the markets as with these economic conditions, surely folks are getting much more in the way of refunds where we once saw some pretty serious hits as people sold stocks to pay for large portfolio gains.

And as always, IMHO and BWDIK???
