Al, you're talking out your ass about a subject you know less than nothing about.

Medicaid and Medicare have already shown themselves to be grossly incompetent at payment allocation (even employment of a fairly objective system like RBRVS ends up corrupted by adjustments, fudge factors, and arbitrary multipliers).

You cannot just have government come in and say, "We have this much to spend, and that will be the amount we pay for American health care". Even a stupid person should be able to see this is an unworkable arrangement that will lead to a degradation of the quality of care that is destined to collapse.

The ONLY government financed health care system we've seen work to date in this country has been Medicare Part D, which worked for two reasons: First, because it was privatized, and secondly because of the patient's "skin in the game" -- which Obamacare removes.

You are so bound by your big government ideology that when people who are better informed than you are try to explain it to you, instead of listening you rant.
