He's ignorant of the Bible. The Jews started nothing. God chose Abraham, father of all those that would later believe in the salvation of Jesus. The Jews persecuted all the prophets and also killed the Son of God. Jesus said, "Search the scriptures, for in them you think you have eternal life, and they are they which testify of me." To this day the Jews do not allow Christians to proselytize in Israel. A Jew that confesses in the salvation of Jesus can become a citizen of Israel. Some "gift".
