Skeets, you're heading into the fever swamps, in a direction impelled by your political prejudices, not the evidence.

It is scarcely new news that the CIA has a track record of idiocy wrt to al Qaeda and have been bamboozled over and over by people presenting themselves as "moderate Muslims". al Awlaki is just one of a long train. That doesn't mean that radical Islam as an ideology doesn't exist, or that morons at the CIA (esp. like that nut Mike Scheuer who actually headed their anti-terror efforts for a while) really meant to help al Qaeda.

They just did so because they share the same absurd "Orientalist" ideology about the Mideast as Obama does - that it's all Israel's fault, and if we could help force a peace treaty on Israel (or help Iran wipe Israel out, if they're being honest with themselves) radical Islam would just go away. This is Edward Said's Orientalist theory, which is warmed over Marxism forced through an ill-fitting model of colonialism; that's why our Marxist President believes it so firmly. He learned it from his buddy Rashid Khalidi. He can't seem to notice that he has tried to put it into operation and it has failed spectacularly. But with Obama, it's always Bush's fault, never his own. And yes, Obama is living proof that you can be a Marxist, a Chicago machine pol, and corporate stooge all at once. It takes a certain balancing act, but if you're a narcissist who is deep as a puddle like Obama, you can do it.

As for reporting on the Fed, singling out Fox News as the only corporate sponsored network is also nuts. If you want to hear scathing criticism of the Fed, you will hear it from Neil Cavuto, Stuart Varney and John Stossel, all working for Fox or Fox Business Channel. You won't hear it from the "Obama is Awesome" channels like MSNBC or CNN. And who owns NBC and MSNBC? GE, isn't it, the ultimate crony capitalist firm who paid no taxes last year? And which party got more corporate and Wall St money in 2008? Democrats, by a ton. I think Wall St regrets it now.
