Thanks, Gus. For the reasons stated in your last paragraph, I closed the calls today which I had bought on Wed. I feel fortunate for the profit, which more than made up for the bath I took on Nov 32 1/2 calls when QNTM first fell to $30. It is always a risky, desparate strategy to average down, but in this case it worked. I certainly do think QNTM is worth more than 30 1/4 where it closed today, but these days and in this DD environment, I wasn't comfortable with getting too greedy (and maybe ending up the poorer for it).
