Gene, the last time I did the ritual "never shorted Microsoft" was in response to Liz "Supersonics"@Microsoft, who accused me of shorting it because I quoted some incomprehensible pronouncement from Neukom. That was 3 weeks ago, see post 13537 and the preceding thread if you're interested, which you shouldn't be, it's pretty dull. I've said it before too, I think originally as "I never sell Microsoft short, figuratively or literally", but never mind.

As to news, see Derek's post, which I will comment on shortly. As to smart guy on a mission, yeah, I'm founder of the ilk brigade, though nobody seems to give me leadership credit anymore. As to Janet's fault, what did she do to cause all the far east markets to go into a tailspin? Rhetorical question.
