I've heard..years ago, that Dell power supplies had a proprietary cable/plug for hooking to the motherboard's power socket..that may have changed..if not there has to be an inexpensive adapter that you can buy.

Also the case backplates on some Dells are hard to line up with some motherboards...the position of the Dell backplates on some of their computers is odd.

I've never tried to after fit a Dell, so take what I say with a grain of salt.
