Once again the points sail over your head without ruffling a single hair.

Either you acknowledge that there are multiple factors involved in decision making or you don't. If you don't then there's no point carrying on this discussion. You are simply too unfamiliar with this industry to discuss the matter intelligently.

If you do acknowledge that other factors have a major impact on Dell's decisions then how would you say AMD matched up on each of those factors?

How did AMD's incoming DPM compare to Intel?

How did AMD's failure rate in time compare to Intel's?

How did AMD's development tools compare to Intel's?

How did AMD's reference platforms compare to Intel's?

How did AMD's technical support compare to Intel's?

How did AMD's advertising assistance compare to Intel's?

How did AMD's delivery to schedule compare to Intel's?

How did AMD's NDA roadmap compare to Intel's? How believable was it to Dell?

Other than the advertising assistance, you can't answer any of those questions even though they had a major influence on Dell's vendor choice. You can point to an email cherry picked out of 110 million pages, apply your own interpretation and claim it as proof, but you have no idea what the other 109,999,999 pages contained. How many of them acknowledged Intel's advantages measured by the criteria outlined above? You don't know and you can't know.

The point is, you have no idea what other factors caused Dell to choose Intel exclusively so you pick the single factor you both have access to and can comprehend.

Simply put, your argument is nothing more than "parts is parts".
