Otter,

sorry, don't mean to keep saying it. short term we're screwed... but not dead yet.

The convertibles are a bad deal. The holders of these typically sell the stock short, drive the price down, and then convert. 125% of selling price over the last 5 days. It would be well worth anyones time to read the links our short visitors have posted, and look at a chart of vlnt. Messy business, convertibles.

They did confirm the existance of gold, and apparently platinum, although we don't know the quantities. This in itself is very good, but there are still many issues not resolved, not answered, and we are still a ways off from a defined resource. I'd like to see some of this stuff addressed honestly on this thread, instead of glossing over the facts.
What are the institutions doing? WHat have they done?? It would be nice if someone would post telescan data for last week, put it out, and let the massess decide what they want. I don't think the shareholders here need their hand held, and that's one of the major problems contributing to this bad feeling we are all having right now.
Expectations were entirely too high. Hinting all week that these hugh numbers were going to be released (I saw some of the e-mails, folks),
talking about short squeezes, etc. It's turned o.k. info into a bad situation. Furry, i'm not directing all this at you... just stating my opinion, since you asked<g> If the thread information police will step back just a bit, we may find some good info here after all, and prevent a bloodbath on Monday. When you put it out and talk it over, it's not a ghost anymore, and ghosts always come back to haunt.

I'd love to hear from Claude, Ron S. etc. on this report. I'd love to hear some reasonable timeframes for getting the assays done, etc. I really don't want to hear somebody say that this is just terriffic, because it's not. It's not what the investors were led to believe they were getting, and it's just a tad improvement over what we knew 2 years ago.

My opinion, which is worth nada. And no, I'm not selling my chip.

best,
kim
