the in-laws' apartment renovation is now complete.
my new home office newly relocated to in-laws per family value, shall be occupied over the coming weekend, complete with garden, indonesian gazebo, water feature, antique desk and filing cabinet set, and soon to be delivered, geewhizbangohwhoawee apple mac pro w/ 12-cores 24 gbytes ram 2 terabytes sshd 27.5" hd antiglare screen and full complement of the usual graphics, mac mini server, time capsule backups, wifi, all connected via very faaaast 100 m/s optic fibre to the greater world.
the entire wall of germanic double pane doors to the garden can be completely folded out of the way so that during spring and autumn i would be one with the world, not just cyber, but physical, with banana plants, and trees bearing mango, papaya, and lime, and all sort of herbs smelling fab. the fragrance should keep me most alert and in tune with the force as i roam the universe for singular opportunities and unique takes.
am deciding whether to install 60" sony 3D tv ("Tron - Legacy" looked awesome through the goggles) home theatre in the home office or at home. if at home office, i would be able to take a break from looting from the rich in cyber space and instead remove the weak hands from same cyber space. am also having a hard time deciding between the various gaming platforms.

have gotten ready a whole slew of sterling engine models to put together with jack. the bits and pieces of old furniture shall make good base for construction. jack must master the 3D physical real as well as the 3D cyber real. |
