Wages will stay cheap as long as trade is free. The debt will be fixed largely by increasing taxes, probably via restructuring of tax code and some sort of consumption taxes, and government management of Medicare/Medicaid costs (aka rationing). Living standards will remain stagnant while the developing world rises.
