Ali. There is a spectrum of managers involved in any project, some look after photocopiers, some orchestrate the design philosophy and architecture of the CPU. I gathered earlier that V was in this role. However, you criticised this role, and placed him as a good time manager.(not a designer of a chip, but organised the support and feeding of those who did this).
Other comments on the thread attribute K5 errors to him?
So I see some conflict, with some ready to dump on him, and others who think he was a crucial and capable designer.
In what way are you critical of him?, and how would you describe his role at AMD?
