I have never been to any state that required me to present diddly-squat. I have lived in several of them. California, where I was born (right next door to Kenya), Texas, Illinois, Pennsylvania, Missouri, Minnesota and verry long visits in others. I have also lived in a handful of foreign countries, though under the aegis of the U.S. govt. Those foreign countries required a a passport, which I acquired with what birthers would call a short form passport, though it is not called a Live Birth. Nobody cared about the longishness of the thing. It was the raised seal they wanted. I had a green passport, which was the touristy one back in the 60 and 70s, a red one, which was official duty, and a black one, which was diplomatic protection. Then they changed the green one to blue, and, after I quit civil service, took away the red one. I kept the black one until it expired.

And, no, I have never investigated the requirements of all 50 states, as I am white and it was irrelevant.
