You're pathetic.

You never deal with anything, do you? If someone says the Rs are racist with plenty of evidence to support that position, you say they are crazy......in an effort to defuse the argument. When its pointed out that R after R is tagged for being corrupt, or taking kickbacks, or committing repeated adultery, you pretend there is equivalency with the Democrats when there is none. If its noted that the South continues to be dirt poor and badly educated 150 years after the Civil War and trillions of federal dollars, you either come up with a counter statistic that is questionable at best or you ignore the issue competely.

I know these are not issues that are brought up very often by others. Southerners have made it clear they consider these conversations verbotim. So in order to maintain politeness and civility, these issues never get addressed. However its high time you all start facing the truth and that the rest of us start calling a spade a spade.

For an example, you go on and on about the deficits as if you all had nothing to do with it rather than being the prime driver of that deficit. The deficit and the numerous other problems this country currently faces result from the same culprit..........the incipent corruption, incompetence and poor governance of the Bush administration. And Bush is the very poster boy of the GOP and all the ills that party faces.

When you start copping to these problems still facing the South and to begin the reform the GOP so badly needs so that it is representative of a first world, 21st century nation, then and only then can you expect to be able to sit at the table and become engaged in the conversation.

Pathetic indeed......however I can come up with much stronger adjectives to describe the GOP and the South.
