TH, a trade war is already in effect.

it is the chinese slave traders and the globalists vs the american people.

and no, i'm not kidding.

GE pulls down $14 billion and pays 0% taxes because they leverage tax free slave labor and unlimited pollution in china while the mom and pop shop down the road pays what, 30%? 40%? off less than 0.1% of that?

if we do nothing, we will be working for slave wages, too. or not at all.

BTW, i hear that is their ultimate goal - and the reality that is taking shape is 100% consistent with that thesis.

my observation is our short term greed has been used against us as citizens. let me use wal-mart as a perfect globalist asset example.

a town has a flourishing small business community. wal-mart comes to town and offers lower prices. the small business people stop shopping at each others' store and they shop at wal-mart.

at some point, they all go out of business.

are cheap goods worth more than american businesses and jobs?

we need to decide or we will continue the descent into direct competition with china and india.

and i mean DIRECT competition based upon primarily price.

i believe a nation is its productive capacity, not its coffee pullers. if production is gutted, america is gutted.

american production is being gutted and the pressures to gut more increase as commodities rise.

i, for one, want to pay more in exchange for a healthy american small business environment again. i didn't start here, but this is where i've ended up.
