One of the things that is different about it is that everyone can justify, in their own mind, a reason for the government being involved in their pet project. It seems that's what you are doing here. We've got to draw the line somewhere. I vote no subsidy or tax credit.

I suppose. But after the mess that is Medicare, the most important problem we have in this country is sending half a trillion American dollars to OPEC every year. If we could jumpstart a change toward keeping some of that money without a move toward protectionism for 5B I think it would be worth it.
