I've studied much of what is out there and think it's the simple stuff that can tell you more than the esoteric formulae.

Of course, up vs down volume is relatively simple as an indicator... as I think you have mentioned previously.

Volatility, for example, gives you an insight into how emotional investors may be in investment decisions.

Putting it all together is the challenge, of course.
