Yeah, I caught that disclaimer and decided not to address it.

Either you are very young and only have the last 10 years to use for comparison (meaning you are 30, started paying attention to world events somewhere around 20 after sorting out the sex and drugs and rocknroll part of life, to some extent), (and even then are discounting 9/11 which greeted the last president), or are older and don't consider Vietnam, the cold war, the double dip recessions of the early 80's, 15% inflation, oil cartels, the savings and loan mess, what have you, "plates of shit".

That's an endless discussion, which plate of shit is tastier than which other.

And JFK had lots of secrets, despite his speech to the contrary.

Edit: It really doesn't matter, the specific problems we have RIGHT NOW, when Mr. Obama is the president RIGHT NOW, matter. The thought that he would be a really good president if only he had some other problems, or no problems at all, is not useful and slightly ridiculous.
