I only want to reiterate that AMD has had a good working and competitive chip at 233Mhz. IMHO, it would require some tiny gradual design optimization to be a stable 233/2.8/0.35 product, profitable enough to support further developments and shrinks. It should be done something extremely wrong to kill the chick and miss 2 quarters of full-scale production, at most critical time for AMD. And he seems to be in charge for the overal execution. Of course, there is another man, Atiq Raza, who must be equally responsible for the K6 technical aspects, and his role in this failure is not clear to me.
