Well, then not only Bush but also Geithner, the Bernank, etc., the same bunch that was feeding Bush information about which he could lie. And guess what, those guys are all employed, got promoted, pay raises even.
Meet the new boss, same as the old boss.
I really don't mind, this was all going to happen regardless of which unsuitable person became president. I just think it's funny that the guy who ran on hope and change ended up going pedal to the metal with the same policies that we were hoping he would change. That either vindicates Bush's policies or says something strange about Obama.
I know, I know, Obama did it because he had to, he's really a good guy and on my side. Bush did it because he's an evil SOB. Not using that as an apology for Bush, he screwed up big time.
Or as Skeeter maintains, neither one has screwed up, they're both doing exactly what they're supposed to do, it's we who are mistaken in the expectation that they work for us in some small way.
Sold 1/2 of my silver today. Not that I had a lot, but the rest is free with some clownbucks thrown in for good measure.
