I would choose Iceland, Norway, New Zealand (South Island), Tasmania, or a mountainous and desolate area of western Alberta.
I prefer somewhere very cold for most of the year. There are not too many drug deals, gang wars, and undesirables milling around and loitering in the streets when the temperature outside is -20°F and the wind is howling at gale force. Perhaps Greenland north of the Arctic Circle if cold fusion ever becomes a reality.
There are still a few nice and remote places left in the United States, but who knows what those places will look like in five or ten years. Change is very rapid now.
After the White liberals and egalitarians in Mexifornia, Mexizona, Texico, and Mexada begin racing northward to escape the hell states they've created, their Mestizo friends will race northward with them and begin ruining northwestern Montana, northern Idaho, and southern Alberta. They're like moths to a flame. -ng- |
