It has also occurred to me that some people might be a little more comfortable with a little war generated inflation, than with the prospect of the deflation that we have been tussling with.

I went to dinner tonight and we talked about the world economy, it's current condition and the possibility of a depression and/or deflation. The thing we agreed on, was in past situations where depression and/or deflation happened, the thing which occurred to turn things around was war.

The other thing we agreed on was, the U.S. fights them off shore by choice.
