Once you get through this nightmare, I would suggest that you check on EaseUS at easeus.com You can get their free imaging program. Yes, it's free. I installed in on my notebook and it works just fined.

However, I would also suggest that you look into their paid version as it has additional features.

Acronis TI is a piece of "junk" IMO. It's bloated with features that have nothing to do with backing up or creating images. In someways, it causes more problems then it solves. These are my opinions.
