Dear PPA Member,

Thank you Poker Players Alliance members! A mere eleven days have passed since “Black Friday” and in that time more than 70,000 emails have been sent through our system to Congress, president Obama and Attorney General Holder. Your PPA continues to work around the clock to ensure that your concerns are being heard by lawmakers and we appreciate all you are doing to protect your poker rights.

During the past week, our social networks have been a popular place for the poker community to get the latest news, info and updates on how you can take action. Are you a “friend” or “follower” of the PPA? Join us online at one of the following links:

I also want to share with you several excellent articles about the PPA’s grassroots efforts. The articles nicely explain why we are fighting, how we’re impacted and why licensing and regulation of online poker is the smart move. I have also included my op-ed that ran in the Washington Post on Sunday.

Your efforts are making the difference in winning the war on poker, and we can’t stop now. I urge you to continue to stay active and help the PPA secure a safe, regulated online poker industry in the United States.

Proud to play,

Senator Alfonse D’Amato
PPA Chairman
