I am not sure if you and other folks watched AC360 yesterday. CNN provided plenty of evidence to show that he was born here. They interviewed the former Hawaii Health services director, a registered Republican (if that makes any difference for credibility). She said she is absolutely certain he was born here because she "saw the birth certificate in the vault" I would not be surprised that she would go looking for it. And if the "birthers" are wise, they would take this hint from her and cease.

But my point is that this is a settled issue unless there are folks who pick up their news from the "news garbage cans" and like idiots do not take the time to verify but instead serve as relays for such trash news. Like all Americans, I too was concerned that our democratic system was not robust enough to let such a thing to happen. But when I looked at the facts (not rumors), I feel good that our system is doing fine.
