Any one heard of MMI response ratio as a Geophysical Test for Mineral Deposits ?

First of all its Geochemical and not Geophysical.!

There are Geos who swear by MMI and also many who swear AT MMI.
Its a complex touchy technique ( you can not let your samples get too hot after you take them! an issue in hot climates).
