Easter is about the state killing dissident individuals. In the Easter case, the Roman Empire killing the peer to peer interaction, internationally, without an alpha male conquering territorial tribal dominance hierarchy, it's not surprising that the USA government [and any government] is not going to promote the idea of individuals being in charge of themselves and their relationships with other people. No wonder they tried to nip that idea in the bud. Christianity got going anyway, perhaps encouraged by the horror of what such barbarian rulers will do to people. China is of course not in favour of such individualistic ideology challenging state totalitarianism. Neither is the USA. Mqurice
