For me naming is absolutely simple. I allow Acronis to name it, usually "Local Disk (C)" and just add the date "04262011"

First open TI 2011 and select disk and partition backup to open the disk configuration process page. I am using a simple Custom Backup Scheme that you can set from the Backup Disk Options at the bottom of the page. This will bring up the Disk Backup Options window where you will find four tabs at the top. There are many options, but this is how I am set:

Select the Backup Scheme tab, click on the down arrow in the box below it and select Custom Scheme. Under the backup method select the Incremental option. Select the button to "create a full version after---- and enter 6 in the number box. This will give you 6 backups with a full backup for a total of 7 images.

In the Advanced tab all of these settings remain as set except the Validation setting. Change the Validation line to Validate when backup is created. On the Performance tab you can set compression to Normal, Priority, or Low. The last tab, Notification, will give you an alert when your available drive space is getting low. How you set it would depend on the size(s) of your backups and your drive. Save the settings as default and you should be good to go. Of course, we never know how well we do it until we need to restore. Hope this helps.
