The wise speculator uses the ask price to determine
the worth of something, at least if he's thinking of selling it.
But, as I said in my rambling message: in the absence of
a market, they cannot tell you how much anything is worth.

One of these days, I'd like to spend a day at the pits watching
money get churned.... You could spend a day watching me
listen to rock and roll while designing electronics... I think I
would get the better deal.
