There is an interesting quote of King Abdullah of Saudi Arabia from 2007 in the book Bad Money by Kevin Phillips: "The oil boom is over and will not return. All of us must get used to a different lifestyle." -------------- Drygulchdan: What I have said is global oil production has been essentially flat since early 2005 despite historically high oil prices and this is an indication a peak in global oil production has been reached. The world won't know for sure until oil production irreversibly declines.
