C2, I am half way through wading through it and his cliches are coming thick and fast. In fact, so far, it could have been written by The Club of Rome 40 years ago [he mentioned the Greenhouse Effect and a few modern things like dates, so he was obviously writing erroneously more recently].

Surely you are not recommending it other than as an example of how faulty thinking can be. At least he knows that major paradigm shift happens.

He has got quite a few things wrong. For example, he says the brains of prehistoric people were the same as those of people now. He has obviously not heard of the Flynn Effect nor reflected on the vast eugenics campaign waged by women against men. Nor that all non-African men descended from a bloke who left Africa about 30,000 years ago and a lady who left 90,000 years ago [some people have trouble understanding how that works but never mind them].

He's basically a doomster who hasn't learned that people are good at solving problems. Yes, if we compounded how many horses would be needed to provide transport around New York from 110 years ago, it would now be covered to the moon in horse dung. But people invented cars, trains, which meant no more poop. And we don't need to compound SUVs to the sky or outer limits of the cosmos, we just cerf into Cyberspace.

Major paradigm shift happens. He got that bit right [I guess he plagiarized me].

No worries.
