TK,

Sorry to hear you took a royal beating on Repap to the tune of 140,00. Instead of slamming each other, I prefer we slam the existing Board and Chairman, have them lay it out. TK, fundamentally, I see things have changed. Pulp prices are going up, usually during October you see increases in Pulp inventories, they went down again by 52,000 tons. Thats good for Repap. Market price for pulp is firming at $610.00 with consensus putting pulp at $640 by end of 1998.

Repap continues to be sold out, and they, I believe, just announced another price increase January (lower discount), again, pointing to better margins.

I expect profit for 4Q to the tune of 15 $C million, excluding one time charges for 3Q and not counting 121 C$ profit from sale for Repap USA, Repap was heading for operating profit of 16 $C million last quarter.

If your theory about the stock goes to under 5 cents holsd true, I surrender - but I will hold on to the bitter end, I'm going to see this stock through. This stock will rebound in 1998, and its valuation alone puts it at about $2.93 per share ....talk about buying a stock at a discount. At any rate, Repap will be purchased within next 12 to 36 months - that my opinion.

Good luck to you, and everyone in here.

Fundace
