Ana Paula drill hole locations. Newstrike Capital. NES.V

This is the darling of the market right now with a big hole of 7.51 grams over 230 metres. The hole was drilled towards the west on a westerly dipping, north trending body. In other words down dip. The object of the hole was allegedly to find the down dip continuity of the body. Pretty well all the other holes except one or two are nowhere near the width and not very close in grade. It is an interesting property, but so far it is no Aurelian, despite the similarity to one of the discovery holes in grade and length.

There are no warning flags on this play with the operations staff or directors. They seem to be competent people of good experience and reputation. It is not outlawed to drill holes down dip. They might have explained hole AP-37 a bit better in the news release for the average investor that the width of the hole was due to its following along the vein, and not crossing its width. You can see it going to the right in the picture below, about 2/3's the way down. Its rather higher grade is curious, but it does show in the odd hole. It may be that the hole stayed in breccia preferentially due to rock hardness, and this would be where the grade was higher.
