Hi Eric:

If only they let the diagnosis be clinical. The infectious disease society of america guidelines are clinical only if there is the em rash. Then elisa screening test (over 35% false negative) before western blot test (requiring 5 reactive bands when it should only be 1).

The spirochete has proven to be hard to kill.

Of course I'm biased as my daugher has gone through the controversy of diagnosing and treating the disease.

I think the Lyme treatment in the U.S. must be like normal medical care in Canada. Impossible to obtain an appointment with a LLMD and then you have to pay out of pocket as its not covered by insurance.

Best,

Tim
