<Mining stocks falling even further behind. Not good> Not good for what? Not good for blindfolded day trading? As gold goes ballistic and stocks trail, stocks just keep getting more attractive. I do not know the extent of shorting to hedge buying of gold, but that would be icing on the cake as the mother of all short squeezes meets destiny.
