the information that you received relative to R&D for APM vs RDRT is incorrect. RDRT spent 5.2% of net sales in last qtr of fy1997 and 5.4% in same qtr Fy 1996

APM spent 12.7% of sales in 3rd qtr 1997 and 16.7% for same qtr 1996, reduction qtr to qtr due to dramatic increase in sales.

Inspection of recent 10Q for both companies shows me that APM is the stronger of the two.
