Rumor from a chat room:

I was in a stock chat room today, and someone who claimed to be from SLC and have some connections at Iomega said that Iomega will announce a new product in January that will make Zip "look like peanuts." I have no idea about the reliability of this person, and I'm not going to hold my breath expecting anything at all. However, it is good to know what kind of rumors are floating around.

On a different note, I am impressed with much of Iomega's engineering. Looking at the technical info on Clik!, Iomega appears to have done a great job in improving on the original n.hand idea. Also, I remember the size and weight of the Zip power supply was a complaint when the Zip came out. I got a Zip plus the other day, and I am surprized at how small and lightweight they were able to make the power supply. Also, it works with any voltage from 100-240.
