Lets see -- you have a central bank holding $2T in increasingly worthless dollars, a billion and a half people to keep happy by finding some way to lower inflation and a publicly announced plan to buy gold -- and you want to short gold and pretend that what happens every fifteen seconds makes even a pinch of cow-shit bit of difference to the direction of the markets -- Monday will be one more boring day in a twenty five year bull market for gold -- just as today was yet one more boring day in which gold did what it has been doing for a decade (and will continue to do for a decade) -- go up in dollar pricing.
