Wyoming, not to be confused with Wisconsin, which is at the top ten of unfriendly jurisdictions, has diamonds, dimension stone, helium, coal, gems, soda ash, bentonite, lots of aggregate, cowboys, uranium, and iron. I think. It is next to Colorado. It is not one of the most mineral producing states, but it is not the least. Cominco had a big program on the Colorado border known as the stateline district, where they explored for diamonds in the 1970's. I believe the Redauram Diamond mine was in Wyoming or possibly right nearby in Colorado.
