Sorry it took so long to get back to you--My wife is just out of surgery--not much time on this thing lately. 1984 must have really influenced your life. However, I do believe it describes the essence of self preservation of every Govt. Every Govt in my opinion, is in some form of a totalitarian state or eventually evolves into one. As far as the US is concerned, over 40% of the people are taken care of in some way or fashion by the Govt----So----you won't hear any thing from them until things they receive now are taken away from them. Otherwise the Govt can do whatever it pleases--wage unlawful wars, break their own laws, make up new laws on the fly etc. Our newspapers and TV news have been co-oped into providing the thoughts they think one should have. People read and listen, and accept it as truth. Don't like to talk too much about this as it is disheartening. Have a good weekend---Peace
